Comprehensive FAQ – Everything You Need to Know
Do you take insurance? Yes, we are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield & Viva.
What if you’re not in-network with my insurance carrier? We can provide you with a Super Bill, which you can turn in to your insurance company for reimbursement of your covered services.
Do you accept Medicare?
We are a non-participating provider with Medicare, which means that we may not agree to take assignment in all scenarios and reserve the right to determine on a case-by-case basis. This also means that payment for all services is required at the time of service, and the adjustment portion of the visit may or may not be reimbursed by your Medicare provider. All services other than the adjustment are non-covered services, so cash service prices apply.
Do you perform X-rays in your office? We do not perform X-rays in our office for a few reasons. Imaging should be determined based on examination or the mechanism of injury. If imaging is needed, whether that is X-ray, MRI, CT Scan, or ultrasound, we work with American Health Imaging and Brookwood Diagnostic Imaging in those scenarios. This allows for the best imaging possible, with the interpretation by a medically licensed radiologist to read and interpret the images, in addition to our physicians performing their interpretation as well.
What types of things do you treat? We treat all types of musculoskeletal issues, functional health issues, chronic pain scenarios, and much more!
If I’m not injured, can I still come? Yes! We work with a model of Rehab to Performance. We work with people and athletes of all types to not only get past injury but to maximize health and performance as well.
Are you chiropractors or physical therapists? We are chiropractors, and most of the practitioners have their Masters of Sports Science and Rehabilitation. This allows The FARM to provide chiropractic services AND functional rehabilitation.
How long are the appointments? Our new patient exam is comprehensive and lasts 1 hour. We try to provide the highest level of care, and that starts with our exam. Our follow-up appointments are 15-30 minutes.
